The entry doors and lobby at the Kalakaua Vista. Much needed glare reduction, heat rejection and privacy was added with their selection of Vista-33 Bronze.
The new Honolulu Advertiser Building in Kapolei required security film installed on the 7 floor "Curtain Wall" of glass in the event of high wind storms or hurricanes. We installed LLumar Magnum 7Mil Clear Security Film with our GlassLock Attachment System to keep the broken shards of glass in place in case the glass failed. Even if the glass were to break, the GlassLock System will safely hold the panes in place until the panes can be replaced.
The La Mer Restaurant at the Halekulani Hotel selected our Llumar N-1050 CDF film to reduce the heat, UV and glare during the daylight hours, without sacrificing the incredible nighttime view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head.
This project also utilized our Vista-28 CDF film that received a nice HECO Rebate as well as already paid for itself in energy savings in a quick 2.5 years.
That's right - our films can be used in areas where tinting or darkening the glass is not the goal. The film seen here at the Picture's Plus store at Ward Avenue reduces 50% heat, 99.5% UV rays and will help rpeserve the expensive displays and artwork in their display cases. Also very effective for restaurant windows.
