C-Bond Systems

We want you to know that our clients and employee's health is top-of-mind and we are doing everything that we can based on the most up-to-date CDC guidelines to provide you with a worry-free transaction here at T&T Tinting. Here are some of the steps we have recently implemented to ensure your safety during your home or office tinting or glass graphics installation:

Confirming Installation Appointments (Day before appointment)

When confirming your installation, we will ask you the following questions:

  1. Has anyone in the vicinity had flu like symptoms, a fever, or returned from a high-risk area within the last 2 weeks?
  2. Has anyone at the job site recently been in close contact with anyone who has exhibited symptoms or tested positive for Covid-19?

If any of the questions are answered "Yes" we will reschedule your installation after 14 days.

If you answered no, we will confirm the installation date and will ask you the same questions the day of your schedule install date.

Installation (Prior to arrival)

The T&T Technician will call you to ask the same questions prior to arrival:

If you answered "NO" we will continue the installation with the following added safety precautions:

  • Technicians will disinfect their hands and wear a mask before entering the premises. The mask will be worn through-out the installation.
  • In order to comply with the CDC guidelines to practice social distancing, during the installation, we ask that all family members / workers and Technicians keep at least 6 feet apart at all times. The Tech may ask occupants to temporarily relocate to another room to achieve this.

Competed Install

  • To reduce personal contact, we will email you a secured payment link to pay your balance via credit card that is due upon satisfactory completion of your installation.
  • The Technician will disinfect their hands and continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing until they leave the premises.

C-Bond Systems

WHAT IS C-BOND

C-Bond is a patented, non-toxic, water based ‘green’ nanotechnology window film application solution designed to significantly increase glass strength, enhance glass flexibility and increase the adhesion of window film to glass products.

C-Bond can be added as an optional upgrade to any of T&T Tinting’s Automotive, Residential, Commercial, Security and Glass Graphic Films to increase the security performance of all types of glass.  Ask for C-Bond exclusively at T&T Tinting in Hawaii.

HOW DOES C-BOND WORK?

The C-Bond technology works as a “smart solution”. It enables ordinary glass to dissipate energy by identifying random microscopic defects that are a natural part of every glass surface. C-Bond then works to repair the identified surface imperfections that weaken the glass composite structure and ultimately act as failure initiators. C-Bond also improves the performance of window film products by significantly enhancing the adhesion of film-to-glass products, so that in case of impact, no large pieces will escape the immediate area of the glass surface resulting in serious laceration and/or life threatening injury. The C-Bond formula is engineered to always maintain original glass design integrity while increasing the performance properties of glass and window film products.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND C-BOND

C-Bond was developed at Rice University, recipient of the Nobel Prize for Nanoscience research and home to the Smalley Institute of Nanoscale Science & Technology and is a direct result of nanotechnology engineering. C-Bond Systems partners and works with the most highly regarded specialty institutions and highly qualified subject matter experts in the glass, window film, and nanotechnology industries.

C-Bond is a multi-generational technology supported by 23 patents spanning core and strategic Nano-technology applications and processes. C-Bond has been tested by leading independent laboratories in accordance with government, industry and law enforcement standards and validated to significantly improve the performance properties of glass and window film products.
