The world famous "Pink Lady" - the Royal Hawaiian Hotel has selected the same film that the Sheraton Waikiki had installed - the Vista-28 CDF. The only difference was that this part of this hotel was built in the 70's and the glass was not safety glass. No problem, CPFilms created a 4Mil Safety Film version of the Vista-28, which when applied to plain annealed glass meets the Honolulu City & County's building code for safety glazing.
The Ala Moana Building- a well known Hawaii landmark is currently undergoing a massive renovation. The aluminum fins that were an engineering marvel of the 60's are now obsolete and in need of removal. This 2-year project is nearing completion, but T&T Tinting was among the first work completed to ensure that the tenants of the building remain cool and the A/C units in the building were not overworked as the aluminum fins were slowly removed.
