This is a sample of our "3M Black Vinyl" option for back windows of vehicles that have the wide black "Dot Matrix" at the top edge of the rear window. Many new models have it, and most window films will not adhere well to those dots in this area, leaving the back window looking pretty unprofessionally tinted if the film is mounted over these dots. This Black Vinyl Overlay option runs about $40 additional, but lays very well over the dots and cleans up that top dotted area very well, making it completely blacked out and looking very finished. Some vehicles require extensive prep work like removal of door panels (seen here), third brake light housings, etc. This is required in order to properly install the window film from the top edge of the glass to safely below the weatherstripping. This level of care is given to our client's vehicles to ensure the window film will never peel up from daily rolling up and down.
This is an example of a benefit that we usually forget about-- Standard car windows break in thousands of litle pieces, scattering all over the inside of your car (and on you!), this picture shows that even though someone tried breaking into this car with a crowbar, the window cracked, but stayed in place- protecting those inside the vehicle (if there were anyone), but most of all - protecting your car and the things inside!
